Del Hart, who was most recently head of external investments and partnerships at the NZ Superannuation Fund, os Mercer New Zealand's new CIO.

She has 15 years of investment leadership experience, and has managed a multi-billion-dollar global portfolio spanning both public and private markets.

“Demand from clients for Mercer’s investment management and consulting services continues to grow, especially as investors face a more prolonged period of volatility," Mercer Chief Investment Officer, Pacific Kylie Willment says.

"Institutional investors including iwi foundations, family offices, wealth managers and more are seeking greater support, particularly in relation to our private markets expertise, to effectively diversify their portfolios in this challenging environment.”

“The extensive experience Del Hart brings in constructing and managing global portfolios, and her deep knowledge across public and private markets, will support our institutional clients, as well as our KiwiSaver members, to achieve their investment goals.”

Mercer New Zealand Chief Executive Anna Scott says, “Mercer New Zealand’s investment business has sustained strong growth, and Del Hart’s track record of investment leadership will position us well to help more of New Zealand’s investors to enhance their portfolios.”
