Roy Cross will rejoin the firm from ANZ to focus on Australasian equities and will be closely supported by Xavier Waterstone and Stefan Stevanovic.

"Cross is a highly regarded investment professional and brings a wealth of institutional knowledge and a proven investment track record," QuayStreet says.

Ryan Barnes joins the firms as Equity Analyst. He was formerly an analyst at Northington Partners. Barnes adds further analytical depth to QuayStreet’s research capabilities.

QuayStreet Head of International Equities Stefan Stevanovic, says bolstering the talent in the investment team will benefit investors.

“We are confident our clients and investors will welcome the additional depth and expertise these appointments bring to our team. Our focus remains on enhancing our core equities and fixed-income capabilities to help us drive the long-term performance our investors expect,” Stevanovic says.

QuayStreet is managed by Smart, a member of the NZX Group, with $15.8 billion in funds under management.

QuayStreet was awarded the Chapman Tripp Diversified Growth Fund Manager of the Year at the 2025 INFINZ Awards, recognising outstanding long-term performance and excellence in portfolio management. It also won the Morningstar® Award 2025 Fund Manager of the Year – KiwiSaver New Zealand in March 2025.
