OMNIMax has launched its latest workflow solution tailored for financial advisers: Investment Adviser Tool. Designed to enhance efficiency and improve client service, the solution incorporates insights from investment advisers to streamline essential processes.

About Investment Adviser Tool

Investment Adviser Tool is a cloud-based solution that is accessible from anywhere, anytime with data securely encrypted and stored on Microsoft Azure’s infrastructure.

It automates key aspects of the investment advice process, enabling advisers to save time, simplify compliance, and improve efficiency.

  • Save time: pre-built workflows and document templates eliminate repetitive tasks.
  • Simplify compliance: digital client signoffs, document templates, secure data storage, disclosure links, and provider and fund information are all built into the solution and help advisers to meet compliance requirements.
  • Improve efficiency: advisers and clients can supply or review information at a time that best suits them, which reduces delays and assists with faster decision-making.

How It Works

Investment Adviser Tool steps advisers through the investment advice process, and is made up of these main parts:

1. Fact Find:

  • Collect client information with OMNIMax’s Fact Find, which includes a risk profile assessment.
  • The Fact Find can be completed by clients online, or advisers can enter client information during an in-person meeting.

2. Investment Projection (optional):

  • Visually show the value of your advice during client meetings, using a projection of how your client’s investments could perform over time and whether they are on track to meet their future financial goals.

3. Statement of Advice Creation:

  • Select your recommendation and automatically generate a compliant, professional Statement of Advice.

4. Authority to Proceed:

  • Capture electronic client signoffs, either in-person or online.
  • Includes the option to collect additional information to help with the application process, including AML, bank account details, tax details, and nature and purpose.

Investment Projection: A Standout Feature

One of the standout features of Investment Adviser Tool is the new Investment Projection tool, which allows advisers to visually show the value of their advice. Investment Projection uses the information collected in a client’s fact find including their existing assets, contributions, goals and risk profile, to generate a graph which projects how the client’s investments could perform over time.

Investment Projection also includes a progress bar for each client goal, which shows the percentage of each goal that will be funded.
Advisers can then make changes to the client’s goals, assets and contributions to instantly see changes in the graph and progress bars and show how their advice will help the client to reach 100% of their goals.

Other Key Features

Investment Adviser Tool is personalised for each adviser, with their branding, providers and disclosure links loaded into the Tool by the OMNIMax team during setup.

Other key features include:

  • Custom branding – the adviser's logo, brand colours and imagery are used throughout the solution, in SOA documents and client communications.
  • Text fields - add personalised notes including meeting summary, portfolio rationale and summary of recommendations.
  • Free training and support – all advisers are offered free training and go onto our Basic (free) support plan. This plan also includes access to our library of support articles where advisers can find answers to a range of questions about Investment Adviser Tool.
