Chinese Kiwi investors tell their stories

Swarms of Chinese are invading New Zealand’s auction rooms, outbidding first-home buyers and hightailing it back to China – according to the hype surrounding the property market.

So what is the reality?

For the September issue, NZ Property Investor magazine went hunting for some Chinese Kiwi investors to find out the truth.

NZ Property Investor acting editor Margie Macalister worked on the article.

She said the way in which Chinese are prepared to work in order to get ahead, or help their family get ahead, is extraordinary.

“No doubt coming from a developing nation where there is real hardship contributes to their work ethic.

“The friendliness and commitment to helping others were universal attributes of all those interviewed for this magazine.”
