Panmure's new K Rd

Move over K Rd. Panmure's Queens Rd is fast becoming the red light district of the east and bays.

According to the Auckland City Council there are at least 12 brothels in the suburb, nine on Queens Rd.

Some are near shops, churches and schools.

But town centre workers offer a mixed reaction to the sex industry thriving in their midst.
