A three-level Mt Eden commercial building formerly occupied by divisions of the dairy giant is now up for sale.

The distinctive 3467 sq m building, built in the late 1980s, is on the corner of Dominion and View Rds.

Fonterra has decided to centralise its operations in central Auckland, and is moving all its divisions into the Fonterra Centre, formerly the KPMG Building in Princes St.

The ground floor of the Dominion Rd building contains a 300 sq m retail showroom.

The remainder of the ground floor space is 750 sq m of office accommodation, laboratories, store areas, packing facilities, cutting and canning rooms, cool rooms and incubator rooms...

Stuart Bode, of marketing agent Bayleys Real Estate, says the property could produce net rental income of more than $620,000 a year.
