Hot auction for Hot Water Beach

The days of camping at Hot Water Beach might be over but on Tuesday you could buy your own beach section on the old holiday park.

Tuesday, December 09th 2003

Bayleys real estate is auctioning three exclusive waterfront sites. Each section is classed as absolute waterfront and range from 970 to 1050 square metres.

Real estate agent Neil Bailey says the auction is a chance for buyers to recapture some of their childhood holiday memories. "People who buy on the peninsula are usually those who've had an affinity with the area and they're buying back to where they holidayed. They're re-living their childhood and want their kids to have the same thing."
