The proliferation of ‘to let’ signs in central Auckland is an indication that residential property rentals have eased off in some of the more expensive areas.

As house prices correlate reasonably well to the level of rentals that can be achieved in any given area, is there reason to feel nervous about the fall in demand? It might be read as a warning sign that house prices will also start to drop.
