The Department does not maintain a public database of tenants, landlords, current tenancies or properties available to rent. Neither do we have a database on the history or other information about landlords or tenants. However, we do provide market rent information, which you can find at www.dbh.govt.nz/market-rent. You can also view Tenancy Tribunal decisions at www.tenancytribunal.govt.nzThe Department of Building and Housing provides information and guidance on building law and compliance, services including weathertight homes, and advice for tenants and landlords.
