Furnishing serviced apartments?

I have a serviced apartment in Manukau. I am currently reviewing the tenancy agreement. Is it normal for the owner to pay for soft furnishings like mattresses and pillows in a serviced apartment?

Our Experts Answer:

This depends on whether you are providing it as fully furnished or not.  Typically it would to provide as fully furnished, so a tenant could just bring their suitcase and groceries and start living there comfortably.
